When creating a web page, you can optionally upload it to an FTP server so that others on the internet can view it.

Regardless of whether you upload it or not, the web page will still be created on your computer and you can view it without having to be connected to the internet. Note that some program features, like area maps, require that the web page be uploaded.

You can launch an external application prior to the FTP by specifying the RunExeBeforeFtp Misc Option.

If you don't currently have access to an FTP server, click here for instructions for signing up with Tripod, a free web hosting provider.

Upload To The FTP Server
Check this box to upload the web page to the selected FTP server, in addition to creating a local copy.

A web page does not have to exist on a server. Web pages can be created on and viewed from your local computer without having to be connected to the internet.

Note: If you're uploading and if a given file exists on the FTP server, you'll be prompted whether to overwrite it.
